Starbuds

This is a schematic design project for a cannabis retail storefront. Sited in Old Town Pasadena, it is sensitive to the community with a separate entrance lounge. The buyer experience is meant to be an upscale, curated experience. The iconic house archetype is used here to bring the double-height warehouse building scale down to human scale to be more inviting and approachable to the consumer.
